I copied this image from BuyATimeshare.com. The $12,000 is to buy, this is a resale, new it would be about $24,000. Timeshare resales sell for about 50% of the new purchase price. You will also have a yearly maintenance fee that may range between $500 and a $900. The Rental price for this unit is $1000, there are other units on the site that rent for up to $2500. The timeshare company will also charge 13% tax on the rental. Lowest cost to rent that I found was $1130 with tax.
